Apostle Shirley Battles
Pastor Battles has been in Ministry for over 20 years after she accepted her call into Ministry, she immediately enrolled herself into Houston Bible College to learn more about the word of God. She was Licensed and ordained in 1995. Under the Leadership of Pastor Bennett Hayes, Houston, Texas.
Pastor Battles pastored in Waynesboro Mississippi, for 8 years. There she helped people from all walks of life. She also had an after school program for the youth. After Hurricane Katrina, she moved back to Texas. Soon afterward she became a faithful member of Temple of Faith Church in Pt. Lavaca, TX where she was the president of the Women of Excellence Department, member of the executive board, assisted in teaching Sunday School, and Chairperson of the Pastoral Care Committee. She was also a part of the outreach ministry; she was and still is a mentor for women in the body of Christ.

Pastor Battles started a home ministry in their garage and birthed the House of Bread Church, with her husband
Bishop Lionel Battles.
​
She is the CEO and founder of LockDown, but not Locked Out Jail Ministry, and serves as a Chaplain for Victoria Police Department, Overseer of New Mt. Zion Ministries in El Campo, SpeakLife Ministries Outreach in Rosenburg, Higher Dimensions Ministries in Schulenburg, and Purpose for Destiny in Mckinney,
